‘Dead Cow Gully’ is named for the unfortunate beast that lost its footing close to the creek’s edge and was discovered a week later tangled in some protruding tree roots – 2 metres above the creek bed.
The new standard in backyard ultra marathons
Marathon
The race format of a Backyard Ultra is quite simple. You have to run a 6.7km loop within the hour, every hour, until there is only one race participant left. Runners drop out of the race for 3 main reasons;
